The Indian Rope Skipping Federation supports clean, fair and safe competition. Athletes, coaches, parents, medical professionals and other support personnel should understand the anti-doping rules that apply to sport in India and use current information from the National Anti-Doping Agency, India (NADA India) and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
Clean sport responsibilities
Athletes are responsible for the substances found in their bodies. Before using any medicine, treatment or supplement, check its status carefully, keep medical records and seek qualified advice. Never assume that a product is permitted simply because it is available without a prescription or described as natural.
- Review your rights and responsibilities before a competition or testing procedure.
- Check the current WADA Prohibited List, including substances prohibited at all times, in competition or in particular sports.
- Use NADA India’s Know Your Medicine tool when checking medicines and ingredients.
- Consult a qualified doctor and the official Therapeutic Use Exemption guidance when treatment may involve a prohibited substance or method.
- Be cautious with nutritional supplements because contamination or incomplete labelling can create an anti-doping risk.
