Parasia Rope Skipping Competition was successfully organised on 6 September 2026 at Singitailaya Bhawan, Parasia, Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, bringing together around 150 young players from Parasia, Chhindwara, Tamia, Umreth and Jamai. Organised by the Indian Rope Skipping Federation (IRSF) through IRSF Rope Skipping Association Madhya Pradesh and IRSF District Rope Skipping Association Chhindwara, the competition provided young athletes with an opportunity to showcase their speed, coordination, agility and sporting spirit.
Parasia Rope Skipping Competition Brings Players Together
The Parasia Rope Skipping Competition continued efforts to provide young athletes with regular opportunities to participate in organised sporting events. With approximately 150 players taking part, the event brought together emerging rope skipping talent from different parts of Chhindwara district.
Participants demonstrated their abilities across various events, displaying impressive speed, rhythm, coordination, agility and balance. The enthusiastic participation of players and support from parents and local sports enthusiasts contributed to the positive atmosphere throughout the competition.

WCL Rescue Captain Kanhaiya Singh, BJP Mandal President and Parasia Municipal Council Chairperson Ballu Nagi, Parasia Councillor Pawan Suryavanshi, District Badminton Association Secretary and senior sports promoter Javed Khan, WCL Mining Engineer Abid Khan and Dr. Chandrakanta presented medals and certificates to the winners and outstanding performers.
